Manchester's nightlife map is set to grow with the arrival of Locker, a new 450-capacity club space carved out within New Century Manchester, an existing live music venue.
Rather than launching as a standalone building, Locker will operate as a dedicated room inside New Century, adding a club-focused space to a venue already known for live music. Details on the space remain limited for now, but its capacity of 450 places it firmly in the intimate club category, the kind of size that tends to suit tightly curated nights and close-quarters dancefloor energy.
The move reflects a broader trend of live music venues expanding their offering to include club programming under one roof, giving cities like Manchester more flexible spaces for both gigs and dance-focused events.
